19th Annual LEGO Building Competition - August 8th

The 19th Annual LEGO Building Competition is the coolest kids-only competition in Whistler, it encourages kids to use their imaginations and tests their building skills. Since this year marks the 50th anniversary of the unofficial opening of Whistler Mountain as a ski resort, organizers have chosen the theme to be ‘What do you love most about Whistler Mountain’. Whether it be skiing or snowboarding, gondolas, marmots, Whiskey Jacks, alpine terrain or mountain peaks, whatever the kids choose to build goes. They are encouraged to design anything that they love about the mountain.

Armchair Books, Cows Ice Cream, Meadow Park Sports Centre and other businesses, have donated great prizes and every contestant goes home with a goody bag. Registration is $5 per child, which includes museum admission for the day.
