Whistler Film Festival 2018 Movies Announced!
It’s time to get ready for another great instalment of the Whistler Film Festival. Returning for its 18th annual appearance, the Whistler Film Festival has finally announced its full program lineup!
This November 28th to December 2nd, 2018, festival goers can look forward to watching 85 films, 50 features and 35 shorts, selected from thousands of submissions. Once again, the festival selections include quality Canadian content, award-winning features, and more female-directed films than ever before! This year, there are 21 feature films directed by women which makes up 46% of the lineup.

Plus, Whistler Film Festival is packed with premiere Canadian features, more than any other international Canadian film festival with 64% of its program. Festival judges will present 14 film awards and $115,000 in prizes and $31,500 in cash to some of the lucky winners.
WFF Content Summit
Whistler Film Festival isn’t just all about watching movies though. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to learn about filmmaking and gain the tools to succeed in the industry as well. Whistler Film Festival features 30 interactive business sessions and networking events for aspiring filmmakers, established directors, and cinephiles known as the Content Summit. The content Summit covers topics from cinema technology and art to commerce and more.
Over 1,000 expected delegates are attending the WFF Content Summit, including industry professionals, executives, top-tier filmmakers, musicians, and digital pioneers.
