Healthy Restaurants in Whistler

We have such a wide and varied selection of restaurants here in Whistler. Quite a few of them serve up healthy dishes, but we think that The Green Moustache and Hunter Gather are best!

The Green Moustache

The Green Moustache is a 100% organic, whole food cafe. They only serve fresh food, there’s no processed food, no prepackaged products and no preservatives used whatsoever. They first opened here in Whistler and no have six locations across BC and Alberta. They also have a vending machine in Lion’s Gate Hospital with fresh, healthy meals for patients!

For breakfast, look no further than the banana buckwheat pancakes. Hearty waffles coated with caramel cashew cream, chia jam, dried figs and walnuts. A perfect start to your day! And for lunch, we love the Buddha Bowl. This dish is a rice and quinoa bowl topped with fresh veggies, seeds, sprouts, and avocado.

Hunter Gather

Hunter Gather is an impressive restaurant. It has a modern, laid-back feel with an interesting and wholesome menu. The chefs here use seasonal ingredients, making sure that the menu is as fresh and healthy as possible. They offer a great selection of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes.

Meat eaters should look no further than the smoked lamb shoulder which is served on a rustic baguette with preserved lemon yoghurt, chimichurri, feta, pickled red onions. And for all the vegetarians out there we’re sure you’ll love the Harmony Bowl. This is made with a tamarind miso broth, vegetables, shiitake mushrooms, house seasoning, and rice noodles.

Healthy Drinks in Whistler

Winter or summer, everybody enjoys a comforting drink whether it’s a smoothie on a hot day or a soothing hot drink on a wintery morning. Whistler has no shortage of cafes serving up delicious drinks, here are two of our favourites.

Moguls Coffee House

Moguls Cafe is one of the most prominent cafes in Whistler. You’ll find it right in the heart of the village surrounded by bars, restaurants and nightlife. The team in Moguls have a whole host of healthy drinks on offer. Tumeric tea lattes made with oat milk are not only tasty, but they’re really good for you too! They make all their smoothies with coconut milk and also have a long list of teas available.

Naked Sprout Juice Bar

One of the newest healthy additions to Whistler is Naked Sprout Juice Bar. Naked Sprout is more of a healthy, comfort food cafe, but their drinks steal the show. Their fresh, raw, vegan juices are all made from seasonal superfoods that are pressed right in front of your eyes. If you’re feeling under the weather you can try one of their ‘Elixir Shots’. These shots have concentrated goodness that will have you feeling better in no time!
